When my order arrives (probably next week), I'll let you know if they work on both versions of the game (20) on PS5. I do note that the Let's Sing game box says "does not work with Singstar mic" so maybe they have some protocol in their own mics that prevent other ones working? assuming the Rock Band mic would work because it worked fine on my PS4 for Singstar). I felt pretty annoyed at myself for buying a game I can't play now (i.e. ![]() I could even use the second mic with a PC and UltraStar for open-source karaoke possibly. At worst I will be able to play 2022 (with DLC) and 2023 (without DLC) with working mics.ĭecent USB mics seem to retail here for $30-60 AUD anyway, so two (that will definitely work with Let's Sing) for $69 plus the 2023 game basically "free" seemed like a decent deal. the store lets me download as "owned" the season pass for 2023 even though I only bought the 2022+season pass bundle!) at best I will end up with 2023 (physical) and 2022 (digital) with DLC for both and two mics. Since the DLC for 2022 apparently gives you the same DLC for "one version higher" (i.e. However, yes, it seems like they don't sell the mics individually, at least here in Australia (I looked on EB Games, JB Hi-Fi and Amazon AU).Īfter reading your post, though, I saw EB had the PS5 version of Let's Sing 2023 with two mics for $69 AUD (normally $99 AUD) and thought "Screw it, I'll just get that". 2023 is the latest (they seem to release one every year, like Madden or wrestling games) but 2022 was a quarter the asking price and included all the DLC (season pass). I bought Let's Sing 2022 digitally, hence no mic.
